Cysts of the Vagina / Labia

A cyst is an encapsulated cavity — a small, closed sac that fills with fluid and arises where normally nothing should be. In the intimate area, on the vagina or the labia, it is especially perceptible: a foreign body in a place connected with closeness, vulnerability, and femininity.

Medically such cysts are usually harmless — Bartholin's cysts, sebaceous cysts, or inclusion cysts arising from blocked glands or tissue changes. Yet from a psychosomatic perspective a different question arises: why does your body form a capsule precisely here? Why does it enclose something, seal it, make it inaccessible — in a place that stands for openness, receiving, and surrender?

A cyst is not an attack. It is an encapsulation — and thus an image of what remains closed within you.
