Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts for digital products (token packages and the texts unlocked with them), printed books and services (for example the personal analysis) offered via bodysignal.app. The free newsletter is not a paid product; its use is governed by the privacy policy.

The contracting party is Wise Lifestyle LTD, 36 St Dminka Street, Victoria (Gozo) VCT 9030, Malta, registered in the Malta Business Registry under C 92030 (hereinafter the “Provider”).

The presentation of products in the online shop does not constitute a legally binding offer, but rather a non-binding online catalogue. By clicking “Pay” in the checkout you submit a binding offer. The contract is concluded as soon as the payment has been successful; we confirm it to you by email immediately afterwards. Unlocking a text with a token is a separate purchase; it is concluded by clicking the button to unlock it (§ 12(3)).

All prices are inclusive of the applicable statutory value added tax. You pay by card (credit or debit card, depending on your device also via Apple Pay or Google Pay) through our payment service provider Stripe.

After successful payment, we credit the tokens to your account. With one token you unlock a text of your choice. Unlocked texts can be read in the app (current browser) and cannot be downloaded.

The statutory warranty rights (legal guarantee) apply to digital products.

Printed books are dispatched to the delivery address you provide after individual order fulfilment. Delivery times are stated during checkout.

As a consumer, you have a right of withdrawal. The details are set out in the withdrawal instructions, where you will also find the model withdrawal form. The easiest way to withdraw is via “Withdraw from contract” at the bottom of every page or in your account.

Token packages, gift vouchers and solidarity contributions: you can withdraw from the purchase within 14 days without giving reasons. For token packages, we refund the price of the tokens you have not redeemed by the time of your withdrawal (§ 12(9)).

Unlocking a text: your right of withdrawal for a text expires once we have begun to provide it, after you have expressly agreed that we begin before the end of the withdrawal period and confirmed that you thereby lose your right of withdrawal, and once we have confirmed the purchase to you by email (Section 356(6) no. 2 German Civil Code; Section 18(1)(11) Austrian FAGG; Art. 16(m) Directive 2011/83/EU). We obtain this consent before every unlock with a separate tick box, apart from the purchase button.

Printed books: 14 days from receipt; you will receive the withdrawal instructions together with the order confirmation.

The content (texts, audio, images, software) and its compilation are protected, to the extent provided by law, by copyright and as a database. Some of the texts were created with AI (see AI Transparency). With your purchase you receive a simple, non-transferable right to read the unlocked texts in the app for your personal use.

Reproduction, redistribution, publication or commercial use of the content is not permitted without the express written consent of the Provider.

BodySignal provides psychosomatic interpretations and impulses for self-reflection. These are no substitute for a medical diagnosis or treatment. In the case of acute or chronic health complaints, please consult a qualified doctor, Heilpraktiker (state-licensed practitioner of natural medicine) or therapist.

The Provider is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence. For slight negligence, the Provider is liable only in the event of a breach of essential contractual obligations and limited to the foreseeable damage typical for such contracts.

The processing of your personal data is governed by the Privacy Policy.

We are neither obliged nor willing to take part in a dispute resolution procedure before a consumer arbitration board. If you have a complaint, write to us at felix@bodysignal.app or call +356 2792 2868; we usually reply within 14 days.

The law of the Republic of Malta applies, to the exclusion of the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. For consumers, this choice of law applies only insofar as the protection granted is not withdrawn by mandatory provisions of the law of the state in which the consumer has their habitual residence.

The exclusive place of jurisdiction for all disputes arising from contractual relationships between the customer and the Provider is the Provider’s registered office, provided that the customer is a merchant or a legal entity under public law.

Should individual provisions of these Terms and Conditions be or become invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected. The statutory provision shall take the place of the invalid provision.
