Cyst on the Wrist

There is a small, hard lump on your wrist. A ganglion — a fluid-filled capsule that bulges beneath the skin like a silent protest. Medically it is harmless: a benign swelling, usually painless, sometimes tender to pressure. It comes and goes, grows and shrinks, sometimes over weeks, sometimes over months. But it is there. And it sits in a place that is not coincidental.
