Your Body Is Speaking
A vertebra shifts. Medically speaking, a vertebral body slips out of position — subluxation, blockage, misalignment. This can happen suddenly, through a wrong movement, or gradually, over months and years. Orthopedists and osteopaths see ligaments, muscle chains, joint surfaces. They realign, adjust, mobilise. And often that helps — for a while.
But why does a vertebra shift? Not just: which force moved it? But rather: what pushed it out of the centre? Your spine is the central axis of your body — it holds you upright, gives you stability, connects top and bottom, head and pelvis, thought and instinct. When a single vertebra steps out of line, it is more than a mechanical problem. It is a mirror of something in your inner life having lost its alignment.
A displaced vertebra shows you: you have been unfaithful to yourself. Somewhere, you have left your own axis.
