Your Body Is Speaking
Rape is a crime. An act of violence that destroys another human being in their deepest core. That stands before anything else is said. No explanation in the world undoes this act, and no perspective removes the perpetrator's full responsibility.
And yet there is a question that must be asked — not to exonerate the perpetrator, but to see more deeply than mere condemnation allows. The psychosomatic perspective does not only ask: what did this person do? It asks: what is so fundamentally missing in this person that they become capable of such destruction? What inner coldness, what powerlessness of their own, what vacuum at the core of their being drives them to a place where no human being should ever go?
