Your Body Is Speaking
It happens faster than you can think. A stumble, a disappointment, a moment when something doesn't go the way it should — and it bursts out of you. Swear words, curses, sometimes full-on tirades. Afterwards you feel briefly relieved, perhaps also ashamed. And then it happens again. And again.
Excessive swearing is more than a bad habit. It is a release valve — and the question is not whether you should break the swearing habit, but why your system so urgently needs a valve. What is the pressure being discharged? And where does it come from?
Whoever swears constantly is under an inner overpressure that they cannot release any other way. The curse is the steam hissing out of the pressure-relief valve. It prevents the boiler from bursting — but it also shows you that the boiler is running far too hot.
