Watery, Weeping, Sticky Eyes

Your eyes are overflowing. They tear without you crying. They stick without you having slept. They produce a moisture that has no visible cause — no grain of dust, no wind, no cutting of onions. Perhaps a sticky film forms over your vision in the morning, perhaps a thin trace trickles down your cheeks all day, perhaps something yellowish and tacky collects in the corners of your eyes. Your body is sending fluid outward — through the eyes, through the window through which you observe the world.

And that is precisely where the message lies. Your eyes are expressing something you yourself have not yet set in motion. The water flowing there does not actually belong in your eyes. It belongs in your life. It is energy that wants out — but finds no other way.
