Your eyes are looking in two different directions. While one eye gazes straight ahead, the other deviates — inward, outward, upward, or downward. Medicine speaks of weakened or misdirected eye muscles, of disturbances in the coordination between brain and visual apparatus. And all of that is true — on the physical level.
