Somewhere in your body, something has hardened that should have been flowing. In the kidney, in the gallbladder, in the salivary gland, in the bladder — everywhere that fluid travels through fine channels, dissolved substance can become a solid crystal. What was once flow becomes stone. What was once movement becomes blockage.
Medicine knows the chemical processes: saturation, precipitation, concretion. Certain substances exceed their solubility threshold and settle out.
