Your neck is the hinge between head and body. Between thinking and feeling. Between what you want to survey and what carries you. What is happening outside to your right or left you have to guess, because you can no longer perceive it without turning your whole upper body. And this physical image is no coincidence. It describes precisely what is happening inwardly right now.
