Sotos Syndrome

A child who is too large for its age. Hands and feet that grow out of shoes and sleeves before the next size is even in the wardrobe. A head that looks more pronounced than other children's — a high forehead, a strong chin, a face that sometimes makes adults do a double take. Muscles that are softer than expected. A development that runs faster in some areas, slower in others. Perhaps behavioural patterns that stand out — restlessness, difficulty concentrating, a struggle with what the world demands.
