Vagina

The vagina is one of the most sensitive spaces a person carries within them. It is canal and threshold at once — the place where encounter happens, where new life is received and born, where pleasure and pain are immediately at home. No other area of your body so densely unites softness and strength, opening and protection, surrender and boundary.

And hardly any other area is so quiet and so difficult to grasp. The vagina often does not speak in words, but in fine physical signals — dryness, burning, sensitivity, tightness, pressure, a feeling of being closed or one that cannot quite be caught. Sometimes nothing hurts, and yet something is not right. Sometimes something hurts, and no examination finds the cause.
