Your nose is more than an organ for breathing and smelling. It is the first thing to enter a room before you do. It leads the way — literally. The upper nasal area, the region around the nasal root and the bridge of the nose, is anatomically the connection between face and forehead, between perception and thought. When complaints arise there — pressure, swelling, pain, chronic congestion, a sense of narrowing — you are feeling something that goes beyond the physical level.

Medically, one thinks of sinus inflammation, polyps, structural narrowings. And those causes deserve attention.
