Your nose is divided — into two halves that should, in principle, be equal. But in you the partition is shifted. One side receives more air, the other less. Medically this is a structural deviation of the septum, often associated with impaired nasal breathing, chronic blockage on one side, snoring, recurrent inflammation. Sometimes present from birth, sometimes caused by a blow — but almost always accompanied by the feeling that something cannot flow freely.
