Your Body Is Speaking

Muscles are the organs of movement. They are what turns a will into an action. When you stand up, walk, reach, straighten yourself — every time, a muscle translates an inner impulse into an outer act. Muscles are embodied strength. They are the place where intention and world meet.

In myopathy, this strength diminishes. The musculature grows weaker, sometimes smaller, sometimes hardened, sometimes increasingly fatigued. What was once self-evident — climbing stairs, lifting a cup, straightening up — becomes an effort or an impossibility. Some forms are congenital, some acquired, some inflammatory, some metabolic. Some have a recognizable genetic background; others remain without a clear finding.

Medicine makes careful distinctions. And rightly so. Myopathy is a serious physical reality that deserves specialist diagnosis and support. Nothing of what follows calls that into question.
