Your Body Is Speaking

The meniscus is a narrow disc of cartilage, inserted between the joint surfaces of your knee like a shock absorber that cushions every movement — every step, every rotation, every landing. When this buffer tears, wears, or becomes inflamed, the knee becomes unstable. It swells, locks, gives way. Suddenly you can no longer move freely. Medicine sees overuse, malalignment, aging processes. All of this is true — on the physical level.

But there is another level. The psychosomatic perspective asks not only what has put your knee under stress. It asks what has put you under such inner pressure that your body gives way precisely where flexibility and stability must meet — in the joint that is supposed to unite groundedness with mobility.

The meniscus does not tear by coincidence. It tears when the way you move through life has become too angular. Too rushed. Too little from within yourself.
