Your Body Is Speaking
Your stomach is the first large space in your body where what you take in truly arrives. No longer in the mouth, where you could still choose, and no longer in the esophagus, where there is only a brief passage — but in the stomach, where a decision is made: what is here now will be processed. It will be broken down, acidified, transformed. Your stomach is the place where the world passes into you.
