Lymphatic System — General Conditions

Your lymphatic system works in the background. It transports fluid, filters toxins, carries immune cells throughout your entire body. It is your inner cleansing system — and at the same time an essential part of your immune defence. When the lymphatic system becomes diseased, something fundamental happens: the flow stalls. Lymph nodes swell, tissue becomes edematous, the immune response falls out of balance. Medically this can mean many things — from lymphedema to inflammations to serious systemic conditions.

But there is a deeper question that is rarely asked: What in your inner life has come to a standstill? Where does nothing flow anymore — no movement, no clarity, no exchange between what you think and what you feel? The lymphatic system has no pump of its own. It needs movement, muscular work, aliveness to function. And that is also its emotional image.
