Your Body Is Speaking
Body hair is one of the few things about the human body that has never fully submitted to culture. It grows where it wants, when it wants, the way it wants. It comes with puberty and stays through old age. It is not a choice, but a fact. And that is precisely why it stirs so many feelings — shame, pride, disgust, fascination, embarrassment, arousal. Hardly anything on the body is judged as intensely as what grows under the arm, at the pubis, on the chest, or on the legs.
