Your Body Is Speaking
You cannot move. Or only with pain, only in a limited way, only with the feeling that every step is an effort. Perhaps it is the joints that have stiffened. Perhaps the muscles that can no longer be stretched. Perhaps it is the entire body that feels as though it has been set in concrete — heavy, sluggish, resistant to any change of position.
Medicine knows many reasons for restricted mobility: osteoarthritis, inflammation, muscle atrophy, neurological conditions, injury aftereffects. And each of these reasons deserves attention. But the psychosomatic perspective asks deeper: what in your life has become so rigid that your body makes this rigidity visible? What is holding you in place — not only physically, but existentially?
