Your Body Is Speaking

Your heart is thickening. The muscle wall that should pump smoothly and powerfully becomes rigid and massive — as though your heart is putting on armour. It grows, but not toward strength. It grows toward overwhelm. The chambers become narrower, the pumping capacity decreases, the blood no longer flows the way it should. You may feel shortness of breath under exertion, exhaustion, sometimes a tightness in the chest — as though your heart is suffering under its own weight.

Cardiology sees high blood pressure, valve defects, genetic factors. And those are real mechanisms. But the psychosomatic perspective asks a different question: why is your heart building walls instead of staying open? Why does the organ that stands for rhythm, flow, and aliveness thicken — instead of pumping softly and fluidly?

A heart that thickens is a heart that works too hard. Not only physically. Spiritually too.
