Your Body Is Speaking
A blister on the skin is a small uprising. Beneath the surface, fluid gathers, the skin lifts, arches outward — as if something underneath has run out of room and is carving out its own space. Medically, blisters can arise from friction, burns, infections, or skin conditions. From a psychosomatic perspective, they tell a different story: something inside you is under pressure. Something wants to reach the surface — something you have kept sealed away for a long time.
Your skin is your boundary with the world. It shows what you carry outward — and what you conceal. When blisters form along this boundary, it is an unmistakable sign: the lid you press down on your inner life is no longer holding. What you are holding back is finding its own way out.
Blisters are not a cosmetic problem. They are a pressure valve.
