Yellow Fever

Yellow fever is a severe, potentially fatal infectious disease. The virus attacks the liver, destroys tissue, turns the skin yellow, can trigger internal bleeding, and plunge the entire organism into a crisis that costs a life without intensive medical care. There is no specific therapy — only supporting the body and hoping it has the strength to save itself.
