Uterine lining grows where it does not belong — on the ovaries, on the peritoneum, sometimes on the bladder, on the bowel, in rare cases even further afield. Tissue that normally lines the uterus and builds up and sheds with every cycle settles in places not designed for it. The result: inflammation, adhesions, pain — sometimes so severe it permeates an entire life.
Medically, endometriosis is a chronic condition whose causes are still not fully understood. From a psychosomatic perspective, a different question arises: what is happening within you such that what belongs to your innermost centre displaces itself outward — to places where it does not belong? Why does something within you cross its own boundaries, even though it has a fixed place?
Endometriosis is not coincidence — it is tissue searching for its place, because you have not yet found your own.
