Your Body Is Speaking

You walk — and with every step it stings. Not loudly, not dramatically. More like a small splinter pressed deep into the sole. A tiny, hard point that makes itself known when you step and reminds you that something is not right. And yet you keep functioning. You walk. You go to work. You do what needs to be done. The pain becomes a secret companion — quiet enough to ignore, present enough to slowly change your gait.

Plantar warts are peculiar formations. Unlike ordinary warts, they do not grow outward. They grow inward. The constant pressure of your body weight presses them into the tissue of the sole; they form a hard layer of horn over themselves, and beneath this layer they continue to develop — hidden, pressed in, held back. What in any other type of wart would sprout upward is here pushed downward. Something wanted to come out, but the ground pushed it back.
