Intestinal Parasites

Something is living inside you that does not belong to you. Worms, parasites — organisms that have settled in your intestine, feeding on your food, spreading through your system. Medically this is an infestation: a pathogen enters, finds favorable conditions, and multiplies. The question almost never asked is: why you? Why now? And why does this organism find a breeding ground in you that it doesn't find in others?

The parasitological answer knows risk factors — hygiene, travel, a weakened immune system. The psychosomatic perspective asks more deeply: what in your inner life opened a door? What in your emotional state has created a space in which something foreign could take up residence — because you yourself have vacated this space?

Intestinal parasites are not a coincidence, but the physical image of an inner state: you have not occupied your own place — and someone else has moved in.
