Your Body Is Speaking
It is there. Has been for a long time. Sometimes quieter, sometimes louder — but it doesn't go away. You have tried medications, changed doctors, started diets, begun therapies, held hopes and let them go again. The pain, the exhaustion, the rash, the inflammation, the swelling, the tightness — whatever your body is showing you, it has been showing it for years. Perhaps for decades. It has become part of your daily life, as familiar as the morning light and just as inescapable.
Medicine calls it chronic — from the Greek "chronos," meaning time. With that, it says: it lasts. It stays. It has settled in. And very often a quiet hopelessness resonates in this word, a silent surrender. "You will have to live with it." A sentence that sounds like a verdict — and yet describes only the surface of a much deeper phenomenon.
