Your Body Is Speaking
The chest is the foremost space of your body. It is what you extend toward the world first when you stand upright. Behind it, the heart beats. Above it, the throat begins, through which words and breath find their way outward. Below it, the belly curves, in which life is digested. The chest itself, however, is the reception and expression field — the area where it is decided whether you open or close yourself.
When something is not right with your chest — tension, pressure, heaviness, knots, pain, changes in shape or sensation — that is never only a question of glandular tissue, hormones, or connective tissue. Medical clarification belongs there, without question. But it does not answer the second question: why does exactly this area speak? Why here, where giving and receiving reside? Why now?
