Eye Bleeding

Blood does not belong in the eye. It belongs in vessels, in circulatory systems, in movement. When it escapes to the place where you see the world — where light enters and images form — something has come under such great pressure that a vessel has given way. Not somewhere in the body. But precisely there where you look. There where you perceive. There where you open yourself to life — or don't.

The eye is perhaps the most vulnerable organ you carry outward. It needs tears to function. It needs permeability to see. And it is at this very place that blood is now escaping — the fluid that carries your life force. The substance that holds warmth. It presses into where it should not be. It becomes visible at the very place where you otherwise look out at the world.
