Your Body Is Speaking
Your heart beats. Seventy thousand times a day, without you having to think about it. It pumps blood through a network of vessels that, laid end to end, could encircle the earth two and a half times. This system runs for as long as you live. It supplies every single cell with what it needs — oxygen, nutrients, warmth. It is your body's central supply system. And it is far more than a pump.
The cardiovascular system is your innermost flowing. When this flowing is disturbed — whether as high blood pressure, as a cardiac arrhythmia, as a circulatory problem, as arterial constriction — your body is showing you something that goes beyond cholesterol levels and arterial calcification. It is showing you how your inner flow stands. Your capacity to let life stream through you — with everything that belongs to it: joy, pain, longing, surrender.
