Your Body Is Speaking

An artery is widening. Not a little — pathologically, dangerously, like a balloon that keeps inflating. The vessel wall, which should be elastic and resilient, gives way. It becomes thinner, more unstable, more fragile. From the outside you usually notice nothing. An aneurysm grows silently. It causes no pain, shows no symptoms — until one day it threatens to rupture. Then it becomes an emergency.

Medically, an aneurysm is a pathological outpouching of an artery. It can develop anywhere — in the brain, in the abdominal aorta, in the chest. The danger lies in the rupture risk: if the wall tears, it can become life-threatening within minutes. Viewed psychosomatically, a deeper question arises: why does a pressure build up within you that stretches your inner structures so severely they threaten to tear?
